Spring/Summer Track and Field Season is almost here!

Happy first day of Spring, Pirates and Pirate fans! We are gearing up for and are excited for Spring/Summer season with Windward. If you have run with us in prior years, you know that the Spring/Summer season is fun and busy! We will be practicing twice a week with about 6-7 meets throughout the season. As you know, the meets take us to some new and fun locations around Massachusetts each season! We are hoping to have some new coaches as the team grows and more interest in field events grows also. Here are some details about this season.

Our first practice will start Tuesday April 25th. Practices will run Tuesdays and Fridays from 5pm-6pm and our season goes until the end of July. Practices will be held at the Upper Jackson Field/Track in Swampscott behind the High School, unless otherwise noted week to week. We use TeamSnap to communicate team information and scheduling week to week! The cost for the season will be $225 which will include a singlet. There will be additional costs throughout the season for meet registration fees. Please note, our team is for ages 7-14, as most USATF meets require you to be 7 years old to qualify. If you are not already a USATF (USA Track and Field), we will walk you through that process.
